Technical data at 23o C and 60 % RV

Paintability
Shortly after application Bloem Acryl -Exterior is paintable st small joints with water based and solvent based paints. At wider joints shrinkage of the sealant could cause cracking in the paint. Our recommendation is to test compatibility with paint prior to use.

Handling the product
Extrude with a standard hand or electric caulking gun. Prevent tooling traces on porous substrates such as brick or concrete. If this has happened, remove traces with plenty of water and a soft brush.

Substrates
Acryl-Exterior gives good adhesion to most common building materials. Remove loose particles in advance. Substrates must be dust and grease-free, but may be slightly damp. Highly absorbent substrates such as sandlime bricks, plaster and aerated concrete can be primered with a solution of 1 part sealant on 2 parts water. In any case of doubt, please perform adhesion tests and/or seek advice prior to use.

Limitations
Do not use for applications where joints are exposed to constant water immersion and joints underground. Do not apply to PE, PP, PC, Teflon, neoprene and bitumen.

Storage and use
Store dry and cool between +5°C and +25°C, in its original sealed packing. Use best before 12 month after production.

Safety Precautions
Avoid long lasting contact with skin. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse with plenty of water and consult a doctor. Avoid any contact with food as long as the sealant is not fully cured. Keep away from children. The product is not hazardous when applied properly and correctly. Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) can be obtained upon request.
