- Anti-corrosive
Paintability
Water-based paints and solvent-based paints normally show excellent adhesion and drying on MSP-Oneseal. We recommend pretesting for compatibility and in case of unknown combinations of paint and sealant. In general, sealants are more elastic than paint systems; therefore dried paint could show hairline cracks as a result of joint movements.
Processing advice
MSP-Oneseal adheres to clean glass, varnished wood, metals and many plastics. Check whether the rebates and glass (all substrates) are finished in accordance with prescriptions and free from moisture, dirt and dust. Wipe all substrates with BS Cleaner Glass & Metall or BS Cleaner Plastics with a clean cloth. Do not touch cleaned substrates any more. Rainy and foggy conditions are not suitable for sealing with elastic sealants. For unknown substrates please consult our primer list or perform adhesion tests first.
Handling
Extrude with a standard caulking gun or air-gun. Finish joints with a solution of BS Joint finisher in water using a sharp putty knife or rubber spatula. Fresh stains and tools are to be cleaned with Bloem MultiCleaner or PowerScrubs fiber-reinforced cleaning wipes. Cured sealant can only be removed mechanically. Hands can be cleaned best with Bloem Power-scrub wipes.
